Entex Performance Points
The following fabrication highlights are standard practice with Entex Fabrication to assure you of quality stainless steel vessels.
1. Specialization in Stainless Steel Fabrication - By limiting primary fabrication to non-ferrous metals, Entex minimizes the possibility of iron contamination and corrosion problems during fabrication of stainless steel.
2. All Butt-Welded Construction - Welding is performed by ASME qualified welders. Butt-welded construction with radius corners eliminates corner welding and results in stronger vessels with better welds.
3. Advanced Welding Techniques - All welding is done using the most up-to-date methods and equipment. Automatic and semi-automatic MIG wire welding is used wherever possible to provide a smooth, more uniform weld without thinning of metal gauge. Where required, internal seams are TIG (heliarc) welded.
4. Testing - All welds are tested by the Dye Check Method. This immediately reveals any pin-holes or other minute flaws. Hydrostatic, X-Ray and other testing is performed as required.
5. Reinforcing Pads - Load-carrying steel legs and reinforcements are welded to stainless steel reinforcing pads which in turn are welded to the vessel. Welding of load carrying steel parts to light gauge stainless is avoided.
